Monkeys may be natural-born climbers, but even they take a tumble now and then—just like us. The Japanese saying 'Saru mo ki kara ochiru' (Even monkeys fall from trees) reminds us that even for those with the best natural balance, falling is just part of the process. What matters is getting back up, and finding ways to improve. Whether you’re landing a kick, performing a throw, or just trying not to trip over your own feet, balance is a key to longevity, injury prevention, and martial arts mastery. This class will explore balance in all its forms—physical, mental, social, and even spiritual—through drills, tools, games, and sparring exercises. So come ready to wobble, stumble, get back up, and, most importantly, improve!
