Learn basic tonfa blocks, strikes, spins, and a kata with one tonfa. Tonfas will be provided free for the students to take home.
This class is an overall body workout using the basics moves from Tai Chi. Movements are simple, with an emphasis on gaining focus, feeling the intents of even the simplest movements. The movements reduce stress, enhance blood flow, and increase concentration, mind, body and spirit connection .
Using a kata of your choice, we will focus on improving foundational skills and principles within kata that can then be applied to all aspects of training.
